The innovation
Liquid Plug & Play makes high-tech invisible
– but noticeably better. Everything remains simple for consumers. For manufacturers, everything becomes more sustainable.
Just Squeez . Just like usual.
Liquid Plug & Play is the first bag-in-bottle airless system that works completely without a pump mechanism – and yet can still be used like a normal product:
You simply press on the outside of the casing – just like with a classic tube. No need to think again. No new handling. No pumping. Just squeeze.
The technology is not located on top, but inside.
In contrast to conventional airless systems, where a complex pump attachment draws out the product using negative pressure, the entire technology is integrated into the outer shell:
A sophisticated valve system pumps air from outside under the internal membrane.
This membrane moves the product bag upwards in a controlled manner
The contents are emptied precisely, hygienically and completely
The advantages for users
No pumping, no transferring – just squeeze
Full control over the dosage – as with conventional airless products
Silent, clean, intuitive – ideal for everyday use, gastronomy or medicine
Residual emptying up to 99.9% – no product loss
Airtight & hygienic – no germs, longer shelf life
and much more.

Technical representation of the outer shell (single-chamber system)

Transparent representation of the reusable outer shell, without inserted product bag.
Consisting of:
Outer body (A)
Inner twill (B)
Clamping the membrane (C)
Pressure inlet valve (1)
Intake valve (2)
Application membrane (3)
Closure / vent valve (4)
Ventilation duct (5)
Below is a transparent representation of the Liquid Plug and Play outer shell. Please note that this is a functional prototype. The focus of production is the proof of concept.
Pressure inlet valve (1)
Description: One-way degassing valve / diaphragm valve / aroma valve Manufacturer: https://www.goglio.it/en/speciality/valves/
Feature: High flow
Intake valve (2)
Description: One-way degassing valve / diaphragm valve / aroma valve
Manufacturer: https://www.goglio.it/en/speciality/valves/
Property: Ultrasonic sealing
Ultrasonic welding technology shortens sealing time: uniformity and productivity.
Application membrane (3)
The membrane is a flexible, thin foil pouch. The membrane is clamped into the inner body at height C, thus securing it in place. The membrane folds over halfway around the entire inner body to ensure complete emptying.
Closure / vent valve (4)
Description: Spring-loaded shut-off valve
Feature: Is loaded and released through the lid of the inserted disposable bag. The valve serves to reset the membrane. The membrane and the valve (4) are connected via a vent channel (5).
Ventilation duct (5)
The venting channel consists of a flexible silicone tube. The flexibility of the material ensures trouble-free pumping. A foil tube is also an option.
Air duct & fold-over edge
This section will discuss the internal technology of the reusable outer shell in more detail. It should be noted that this is a functional prototype. The focus of production is the proof of concept.

Figure 1: Membrane in initial position. A product bag can be inserted.
Step 1: Compress the outer body -> this will force the air in the space between the outer and inner body
the pressure inlet valve is pressed into the inner body.
The air acts on the membrane, causing it to expand toward the opening. When the lid is opened, the viscose is released in proportion to the membrane's expansion.

Figure 2: Membrane in final position. Product bag has been completely emptied.
Step 2: By releasing the outer shell during the regular pumping process, air is sucked back into the space through the intake valve. This allows the process to continue until the membrane has moved all the way up to its final position.
The membrane folds into the product bag to completely dispense it.
The product bag's inner fold is located at the patented fold-over edge. In the case shown here, the fold-over edge is a small, circumferential narrowing located centrally in the inner body.
Due to this local change in volume flow, the product bag is held at this edge so that the product bag, in conjunction with the dispensing membrane, folds into itself in the middle and is completely (perfectly) emptied.
